- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My latest project was a complete master bath remodel. First we demoed the 1940's bath. Removing, the old tub, plumbing, flooring, electrical and appliances. After the demo we added any structural changes that were neccessary. The plumbing and electrical rough in's. Sheetrock and ceiling board was hung, mud'ed. after sanding. Tub deck was built tub and wet wall installed. Tile man hardi boarded the floor and shower. Waterproofed the shower. Laid the tile on the floor and shower. Grouted. Trim guy trimmed out the doors and windows to match existing trim throughout the residence. Walls were prime'd and painted. Touch up to the sheetrock was done where necessary, before final coat of paint. Plumber's then came back and installed toilet, sink, tub and shower fixtures, and vent. Then the electrical was finished. This was a beautiful 8" hex tile from ITaly. With schluter and a custom niche with opaque glass shelves. Jacuzi drop in tub, and floating sink. WIth custom vanity lights.
