I am in my late 60s. Ive lived in numerous cities and states and I have had my homes cleaned by someone since I was 30 years old. When I moved to the low country, I was BLESSED to interview the owner of LOWCOUNTRY CLEANER, Melinda. She sends a reminders the day before the appointment and sends a text message when shes on her way. Melinda discussed the products that she will be using in the home and makes sure she has a clear concise understanding of what you would like her to do. I always have felt anyone can clean a home, but she goes above and beyond. She takes care of the little things that the other cleaners in my past never did. The man in my life has never commented on how good the home looks or how good it smells after it has been serviced. He sure did praise Melinda and the excellent job she did.Melinda is my new angel.

Melinda has been cleaning our house regularly for well over a year and does a terrific job every time. Just tell her what you want done and it gets taken care of, no questions asked. She has also done a few move out cleanings at our rental properties, all of which were fantastic. She had the places move in ready in no time at an affordable rate. One odd cleaning she did for us was a cleaning of our camper that hadn't been used in 2 years, which was incredible. She literally does it all, and I trust her to take care of all of our cleaning needs!

Lowcountry Cleaner's reply

Calvin, thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for trusting me with everything from your home to your rentals—and even your camper! It means a lot to hear that my work has consistently met your expectations. I pride myself on making things simple for my clients: clear communication, fair pricing, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done right. Knowing you’re comfortable handing over all those different cleaning needs tells me I’m doing my job well. I truly value your loyalty over the past year and beyond. Clients like you are exactly why Lowcountry Cleaner exists, and I’ll keep bringing that same attention to detail every single time. Thanks again for your support and for sharing your experience—it helps my small business more than you know! — Melinda Cain, Owner Lowcountry Cleaner, LLC

I recently hired Lowcountry Cleaner for a threebedroom, twobath moveout clean in Savannah, and I couldnt be happier. Melinda was unbelievably accommodating and friendly from start to finish, genuinely cared about the details, and left the place spotless. If you want a team thats thorough, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with, look no further than Lowcountry Cleaner!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not particularly as I am just starting up, but I'm basing it on recent jobs I have completed that were not through thumbtack and the amount of money I'd like to make in reference to the amount of effort I'm putting in.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a square footage, rooms and bathrooms count, as well as the type of cleaning and how often they would like to have service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have previous professional cleaning experience in multiple 4 star hotels as well as personal experience with prior sporadic cleaning jobs I've done over the last few years.
