FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing often depends on the type of work involved, but typically is one of two types: Outright bid. One price for complete service, with final payment due upon completion of project and meeting customer satisfaction. Cost Plus. Some jobs, especially in remodelling, are best handled by adding the cost of materials plus an agreed upon rate for labor. This system works best for jobs with unknown or unforseen variables. These may include the discovery of lead paint, asbestos or termite damage. Sometimes it may involve uncovering work that was not done according to code.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have an open discussion regarding the wants and needs of the client. What are the best ways to achieve the end results? What are cost effective alternatives? How can I best serve the client? I keep the client involved and up to date. My goal is 100% client satisfaction!
