Kyri H. says, "We recently renovated our kitchen and a friend recommended Erick. He came out and told us the existing drain was rotted through, which is why we were having issues. He changed the pipes before the new cabinets were installed. He then installed our new faucet and disposal along with a new dishwasher. He did this all for half of what others would have charged. I'm impressed and it looks good great! Thank you so much Erick!"See more

Tina A. says, "I had several plumbing issues that needed attention, including replacing a tub spout, removing and properly disposing of an old faucet, and installing a brand-new faucet. On top of that, my toilet was leaking very badly and needed immediate attention. He took the time to address each issue carefully and professionally, including replacing the toilet’s wax seal to correct the leak and making sure everything was properly installed and working as it should. From start to finish, the service was excellent. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very thorough with every part of the job. He paid close attention to the details, made sure the fixtures were installed correctly, and took the time to check his work rather than rushing through the repairs. After completing everything, he tested the plumbing to ensure everything was functioning properly and checked for leaks to give me peace of mind. I was also very impressed with how clean and organized he left the work area. He cleaned up thoroughly after finishing the job, removed the old materials, and made sure everything was left neat and tidy. It’s not always easy to find someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and genuinely cares about doing the job right."See more

I was in need of plumbing repairs in my condominium unit. I decided to transform my bathtub into a walk-in shower. I found Miguel of Simply Grounded Plumbing/Sewer and Drain Services, who promptly responded to my inquiry.

Miguel visited my condominium unit, provided me with his assessment and estimate, which was reasonable. I subsequently hired him to undertake the task. He was punctual and communicated each step of the process as he progressed. We encountered a minor setback with the upstairs unit’s bathroom leaking, but Miguel remained patient and understanding. He demonstrated care by inquiring about the progress of the neighbor’s plumbing work. Once their situation was resolved, Miguel tested to ensure there were no leaks from the neighbor’s toilet and tub. He then returned to complete the job.

I am highly satisfied and grateful that I encountered Miguel through Thumbtacks. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Nick was fantastic. I had a sink stopper stuck in the middle of the bathroom pipe. It took him approximately seven minutes or less to remove it. He did not have to remove the pipes to get that stopper out, unbelievably fast on the job and he gave me a very very reasonable price. Nick is very upbeat nice dependable plumber. I absolutely highly recommend Nick for your plumbing jobs.

I received a phone call shortly after I had submitted a request for help / service call yesterday morning. I wasn’t able to provide photos at the time I submitted my request as I wasn’t at home and was going to meet with a client for work soon, but I was able to communicate the issues and the situation over our phone call. Emerso (sp?) and his partner were able to come help out with plumbing issues at my apartment the same day I reached out for help. He was in constant contact/communication with me, which was greatly appreciated.

My partner and I have been experiencing on and off / back and forth issues with our shower/tub drainage as well as our bathroom sink drainage. Our tub took hours to drain and it would be disgusting to shower standing in puddle/bath water that would be above our ankles. We woke up yesterday morning to find that our bathroom sink water didn’t go down the drain at all. My partner heard trickling noises and discovered that the pipe leaked, soaking everything in the sink base cabinet, and leaking onto our bathroom floors. Our sink base cabinet door even broke off!

Emerso (sp?) and his partner quickly fixed our bath tub drainage issue. Me and my hair was majority of the culprit, embarrassingly enough, but I’m making sure I clean the drain more often now to prevent this kind of issue again. They were also able to fix the bathroom sink drainage as well! The last and only issue left is that I have to replace the pipe with a new one as it was too old and rusty, and still leaking.

Emerso (sp?) is very knowledgeable. Him and his partner are very friendly, kind, and have a great sense of humor, too. They are coming back on Monday to finish up the job by replacing the old rusty pipe with a new pipe so that it will no longer leak.

He told me over the phone earlier, that if he is unable to fix my drainage problems, that I wouldn’t have to pay him anything. I still greatly appreciate him, his partner, and their time! They came straight from Kailua/Kaneohe to town side during normal afternoon/early evening traffic time and they took their time to ensure they did their best job with quality work and effort. They even cleaned up the debris that came from the drainage repairs as well as trying to figure out what was going on with the pipe. I will be paying them once they finish replacing the pipe tomorrow.

Me and my partner were very relieved to have been able to shower comfortably last night and this morning! I’m glad to say I have redownloaded Thumbtack and found Ekahi Home Improvements! Excellent service!
