Ingrid was phenomenal with helping us plan our wedding. My family is from Chicago and my husband’s is from Australia so we decided to get married in the middle which was Hawaii. Neither of us had been there before and we definitely needed help! We are so grateful we found Ingrid because every step of the way she was calm, positive, an just full of joy—after every wedding planning phone call I felt happy and each email was reassuring that everything was going to be perfect. I could tell she truly enjoyed helping me plan my big day. Ingrid eased my stress as a bride (and my mother’s to because Mother‘s of brides get stressed out too!). The stress and worry of not being able to visit venues or caterers, etc. didn’t really exist for me because Ingrid was on top of everything and she simplified wedding planning for us. In the beginning we picked our venue, then hired Ingrid, what’s great is she that she had experience planning her OWN daughters wedding there so she knew the place well. She had me send pictures of our vision of our wedding, flowers we wanted, colors, cakes, place settings, etc and then she would present three options pictured in an email and my husband and I would pick. She checked in too to make sure her choices matched the vision my husband and I had. Also she had a cool ideas I didn’t even think of, like the big light up “LOVE” lights, which turned out to be a cool photo opportunity for all our guests and looked great as the sun set. Planning a wedding this way was wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone in a heart beat! On the day of the wedding she was there to make sure everything went smoothly—I didn’t worry about a thing!! She helped my husband and I with our dream destination wedding in August of 2019—a wedding friends and family STILL talk about a year later and say it was the most beautiful and memorable wedding they’ve ever been to. Ingrid is talented, caring, a blessing, and NECESSITY for wedding planning help!

Working with Pohai for my cousins very large, outdoor wedding was no easy task. Pohai delighted us with her immediate suggestions on how to add decorative touches that emphasized our venue yet stayed within budget. She was very easy to work with and even in the event of a challenge or unexpected problem, she offered solutions and looked for ways to adjust. She was attentive to our needs and flexible with everyone's "input." She is a talented event planner and we would recommend her for any large or small event you might have.

Pohai was honestly one of the best parts of planning my wedding. She took all of the qualities that I wanted and made them into something beautiful. From the isle, outdoor arbor, flowers, guest and cake tables. She made our day everything we could’ve dreamt of. She was also very personable and easy to talk to, we had a budget and we worked with it. We had items that we wanted incorporated and we found them laid out within the decorations so our guests could see them. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone that would ask about her boutique.
