Lets start with the positives! The pricing is great! DJ Fifty Cal worked a great deal for me in a timely manner. He was very flexible with our wedding schedule. We did a skype call and he offered to come do our rehearsal dinner for free as a trial run. Prior to the rehearsal I emailed him twice to confirm the time and place of the rehearsal and got no response and then after attempting to call and text him for 20 min. I got a hold of him and was told that he was not showing up to the rehearsal, that he did not recall that conversation, and that it would have been an additional charge. He ensured me that he is a great DJ and would have plenty of time to set up on the day of /was confident in his timing for the wedding. He did show up early at 2pm for the wedding (started at 4:30pm) to get things set up and ready, which I really appreciated. To my knowledge everything was going smooth until it came to the timing for our wedding and he did not play our unity song at all, played the surprise recessional song that I had for my husband in the middle of our unity tying, and then played our first dance song, the father daughter song and a few special select songs for the wedding randomly throughout the night. We had a very specific playlist for special moments, dinner/waiting periods, and for the dance floor. I was bummed because I felt like a lot of them got played before they were supposed to making it kind of boring for people to hear them twice. I was also notified that there would be wireless microphones for the ceremony and the speeches, which were not provided and for the speeches we could barely hear them. He played great songs during the reception and for the first 2 hours no one stopped dancing! However, he still ignored our requested playlist and played our last song at 830, did not announce our bouquet toss until 30 seconds into the song, and played some of the songs multiple times. The wedding went fine and was fun, but I was very upset and sad to find out afterwards, that right before the ceremony the DJ threatened to quit, started packing up his stuff, and had a bad attitude due to being asked to move some of his setup. My wedding planner said that she had to give him queues for all of the ceremony music and events even though we gave him a very specific schedule over a month in advance. I did apologize to him for being frustrated on the phone the night before and attempted to be friendly, but was told that it was okay because he had seen the show Bridezillas. I was also notified that through out the whole set up and evening that he had a bad attitude.
