Introduction: I use a convertible for my tours which is the number 1 choice of vehicles visitors like to ride in while cruising around Oahu. Only four door convertible on Oahu able to carry 4 passengers. I enjoy meeting people and showing them the beautiful places and people here on Oahu. I am saddened when I hear people come and end up only seeing Walmart.

I highly recommend Mark Reichman's tour of Oahu. Mark is knowledgeable, friendly, and funny - the perfect guide! I personally had been to Hawaii many times previously, and yet Mark had me discovering scenic parts of Oahu that I never knew existed, nor ever saw written about in the guide books. A typical scenario: Mark takes me and my family to a beautifully quaint and delightfully "untouristy" neighborhood. He parks on some side street, leads us down a narrow, obscure pathway, and all of a sudden we have before us a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean, the back side of Diamond Head, magnificent cliffs, and something that looks like a cave taking in and spitting out the crashing waves. Mark also knew exactly where to take us to get the most awesome aerial view of Honolulu. We traveled in style and with great flexibility. Mark will take you where you want to go, and will have ideas galore on where to go and what to see if you don't know the island. Don't miss Mark's tour! We absolutely LOVED it ! We love Hawaii Cabriolet Tours!!! Instead of getting a standard "touristy tour" on a crowded bus and on a set schedule I would highly recommend you save your time and money and book with Mark instead. It was awesome! First thing Mark asked us was what WE were interested in. We laid out some of the things we were into and the things we weren't. He put together a tour that was tailored to our tastes and at each spot he walked through with us, sharing with us the history and insight you only get from a local! I did quite a bit of research on the island before we came, but even with all my research I never would have found even a fraction of the spots he took us to. These are not sights you'd find in a guide book or even be able to find on your own, they are truly hidden gems. Plus, we really liked Mark’s style, he is just a really nice guy who is easy going and flexible. It was also especially nice for us because we have 2 small kids and at each spot we could take as little or as much time as we wanted, we never felt rushed and we never felt held back. He knows a lot about the island but he doesn’t inundate you with pointless trivia. He was always there but he didn’t hover, he lets you explore at your leisure but he is there to give you some awesome insights and to answer your questions. Also, I love pictures and he took great pictures of us at every spot, it was amazing going through the photos the next day, I couldn’t believe all of the awesome stuff we had seen and done, it was like a vacation within our vacation! If you want to see the REAL Oahu this is the tour for you, and hey, even if you want the basic, classic tourist tour Mark will take you there too! That is what is awesome is it is fully customized and flexible. We had such an amazing time and it was truly a highlight of our trip!

Our tours with Mark and Cabriolet Tours was great. Love riding around in the red convertible ! Mark took us anywhere we wanted. He showed and told us about the different areas on Ohau; Historical points best beaches, plantations. Even though we did not have enough time,he can take you surfing, hiking, snorkleing. We will call Mark for tours next time we get to Hawaii, andrecommend him highly!

Really enjoyed our tour with Mark. Mark is enjoyable to converse with and is quite knowledgeable. My wife and I enjoyed seeing the major attractions (Hanauma Bay, Dole Plantation, etc) and also the places only locals know about. We pulled onto a side street and walked down a hill to a beautiful beach and rocks. Breathtaking. Hope we can make it back to Hawaii so we can take this tour again!

I visited Oahu last year for the 4th time. Mark took me on a tour. I learned more in those few hours and saw more sights than on all my previous visits. I recommended him to my friends and relatives visiting Oahu. I actually got letters thanking me after their trips. I am back again and signed my wife and I up for another tour. Can't wait!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have a 5 hour minimum of $300 then $60 for each additional hour. That is the same rate for 1 to 4 passengers so the more passengers, the more economical for each person. Tips are acceptable. :-)

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Our clients vary. We have provided tours to a single person, couples, guys, gals, daughter and elderly mother, mother and children as well as dad, mom and child. Each tour is customized to the individuals and their desires and abilities. We pick them up when they want to go and proceed at their pace. We are not on a schedule so do not have to rush or wait for other people to get in and out of a van or bus. We put the top down when we want to see the blue sky and put the top up when the sun gets uncomfortably warm then turn on the A/C. We stop for meals, snacks or potty breaks when we want and just enjoy the beauty of Hawaii with no stress.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you want to see Oahu, a private tour is the best way to do so. We can go into areas where a large bus cannot go and because we are not on a schedule, we can spend as much time as we want exploring, strolling the beach or eating shave ice. Using a convertible adds an extra special touch to seeing the beauty of Hawaii. There is a feeling of euphoria as we drive under a canopy of banyan trees or cruise along a windy mountain road listening to Blue Hawaii sung by Elvis. For me, the joy is meeting people and showing them places they never would see if they rent a car or hop on a big bus. No one has been disappointed by the end of the day.
