FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Maui is a busy place and my schedule books up quickly. That being said, for all sessions I require a 50% deposit to hold your date and the remainder is due 3 days prior to the shoot. In the event of rain, I will do my best to reschedule you, and if it so not possible I will offer a full refund if there is no availability in my schedule. I do offer to rescheduling for wind or clouds so please make sure to plan ahead for outfit options and hairstyles. There are no hidden fees in my pricing, however, if you find that you like more photos than your package offers, there are gallery upgrades if you so choose.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to send you my brochure via Honeybook and have you choose your session type. Then I will send you a detailed proposal with a contract and payment request. Once the deposit is paid and the contract is signed you will officially be on the schedule and we will begin selecting your location for our shoot. I will text you out meeting spot the morning of, and from there we will start the session. After the session is over, you will receive a sneak peek a few days after your session and the full collection 3 weeks after our session. From there you will be able to choose your photos, and shortly after they will be delivered in High-Resolution JPEG format for you to enjoy forever.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started off learning family portrait photography a few years back working for some of the highest volume hotels in Wailea, HI. After receiving training on how to pose and use natural light to my advantage I decided to go off on my own. I love what I do so much that I have the pleasure of teaching photography and Off-Camera Flash on YouTube and to in-person clients too. Photography has opened so many doors for me and I love being able to teach what I love to so many others all around the world.
