FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing varies depending on the location, prices increase with distance traveled, if there are discounts in place, ex; military, senior. I do price rehearsal fees separately as many couples do have a change in plans on rehearsals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Responding to a customer (bride and groom) request for an officiant to determine what they are looking for in a ceremony; non denominational, non religious etc, offering them a price that includes; preparing and performing the ceremony, unlimited communication, offering a sample draft of their ceremony, traveling to their venue and handling their license post ceremony. Rehearsals (desired by the couple) are priced separately.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nothing special, having worked in the public sector has been valuable in listening to peoples needs and concerns, on the job training, like communicating with others in the profession, such as wedding consultants, florists that serve the wedding industry. Also I don't hesitate to consult with any religious leaders if appropriate for couples requesting particular religious excerpts in the ceremony. I guess "on the job" would the best way to describe it.
