Mark did a wonderful job with our wedding photography! It was so easy to communicate with him and coordinate before the wedding. He was so pleasant and professional to work with on the day of our wedding. He captured so many great moments in our wedding and we are so grateful. We got exactly what we wanted. If I ever need professional photography again I will turn to Mark. I highly recommend MD Lingl Photography!

Holly was amazing to work with! We had the challenge of planning a wedding in Minnesota while we were living in Alaska. She tweaked her wedding packages to customize our needs. At the wedding she was quick with the pictures so they didn't drag out and she had great ideas! She definitely gets a good feel for the customer's style and goes with it. Holly was also getting married and planning her own wedding around the same time and still managed to get us our pictures in a timely manner. She's quite the gal, great photographer, and runs a fantastic business. I hope she will take future pictures as we visit the area and our family grows!

Mary did a fantastic job on our family photos. She was fast to respond with a quote on Thumbtack that fit exactly what we were hoping for right within our budget. We ended up receiving much more than we were imagining and had such a fun session with her! She was calm and patient when our 9-month old dog was not cooperating- she even calmed me down and we ended up with some really nice shots. She is so kind, professional, responsive, and accommodating. We did not expect to find our wedding photographer when we booked this session but ended up with a great one. Thanks Mary!

I highly recommend Anthony Djuren Photography for all your photographic and video needs. I have used Anthony Djuren Photography for corporate work and the end results were spectacular! I was very pleased with the quality of his photography but the best part was that Anthony is so easy and pleasant to work with. He is highly talented and takes his client's satisfaction very seriously. He adds creativity while still keeping the focus of the event on task. I would highly recommend him for all corporate and personal events.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost for a photographer for a wedding?

Finding the right wedding photographer can make a big difference for your ceremony. Nationally, the average wedding photographer’s price ranges from $800 to $1,000, but costs can be much higher in areas like Chicago, New York or Los Angeles where some couples spend $2,000 to $5,000 or more for the photographer they want. Factors that can affect your wedding photographer prices include the photographer’s reputation and experience. Heavy hitters can command top rates, especially during wedding-season weekends. Day of the week also affects your cost. You may get a $200 discount on wedding photographer prices if you get married on a Friday in November rather than a Saturday in June. Time onsite is also an important cost factor. Hiring a photographer to snap photos from the moment you wake up until after last call at the reception is going to cost more than five hours of pictures during the day. Multiple photographers, special lighting, and videography will also increase your costs. Ultimately you want to find someone who has a style you love and can provide the number of edited shots you want for a price you can handle. Learn more about hiring a wedding photographer.
