- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I, the owner, have been doing yard care since I was 14. I started out doing my own yard, my grandmother's, several friends. My friends and family often praised me for my work. Some at first were surprised that such good work could come from a young lady. But that is also what is enjoyable is being recognized for Doing a great job despite being among the "minority" in my field of profession.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the jobs I do for my clients involve mowing the whole yard, doing all of them trim, blowing away any grass clippings from the sidewalks and driveway. Most of my clients don't have brushes or hedges, but I am willing to do them upon request. I also will cut down small trees and haul them away to a local yard waste disposal site.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That we are just as good -if not better- than many of the big name companies. We will not break your bank so that you can enjoy a perfect yard, and will still do a satisfactory job.
