Introduction: I started my company in 2005 in Des Moines, IA and recently launched SPACES by Nicole, LLC in the Quad Cities market. I have been blessed to work on so many different types of projects and have gained so many lifelong friends because of it! From staging, new home construction selections/consulting, model home buying and decorating, window treatment consulting and selecting...to so much more! I carry multiple lines and have reputable relationships with all vendors in this market to include: cabinets, flooring, counter-tops, painting/wallpaper, plumbing, lighting and window treatments. I am very passionate about what I do and my customers can see my enthusiasm thru all our appointments. I am very knowledgeable of this industry and I can assist with every aspect of it. I truly love my job and it shows!

Nicole Wagner Leach has quite possibly changed my life. I do not do well with visualizing how anything will look in a room and I get tired easily when attempting to do anything from picking out a vase to a couch. There are possibly thousands of options for everything. I was able to give Nicole a budget and what I needed as an end product. She took the time to get to know me and my family and to truly determine my level of involvement I wanted in the project. The finished product was amazing. It’s me. It’s my husband. It’s us and she captured it. And she stayed below budget! From rugs to blinds to art placement to backsplash to bar stools to couches to chairs, I have now given every aspect of my home over to Nicole. I love being in my home and everyone who comes to our home loves it, too.

I can’t say enough great things about working with Nicole! She’s amazing!! She listened to my preferences for color and decor and provided excellent ideas, samples, and options for wall art and furniture while keeping in mind our budget. Nicole has a wonderful eye for color and pulling a room together. Most importantly Nicole listens...phenomenal customer service and follow through. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in 2003 I became the design manager for one of Iowa’s largest builders Regency Homes. I then became the design manager for a local granite fabricator. After that I started my company in 2005.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am currently wrapping up a 4 story historical building in Muscatine, IA. I made all the selections for the following: flooring, paint, lighting, window coverings, plumbing, countertops, bathroom accessories, furniture and decor. The first floor is a Chiropractic office, the second and third floors are commercial offices and the top floor are two furnished lofts that will be rented out.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask for references and ask to see photos of their work. Speaks volume!
