- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do request that 30% of the cost of the photo shoot be paid at the time of service as a nonrefundable deposit. The other 70% is paid at the time of service via cash or debit/credit card using the Square app. I also have a contract that I send out at the time of booking. And I do have a referral program! Currently, I offer a $20 credit towards a future photo shoot for any client that you refer to me upon them booking with me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers a little bit and listen to their vision for the photoshoot. I also like to know of any special poses, props, hobbies, and interests that clients may have. Getting a feel for the personality of my client is also a must as I try to bring that out in my pictures.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been taking online training classes at an average of 1-2 classes a month for the last year and a half. I am also part of three photographer groups on Facebook that provide additional training and guidance.
