- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly monitoring the web for new software, hardware, risks, threats, and anything that will help my customers. I enroll in online manufacturer training courses, and spend time weekly expanding my skill base.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was interested in trying to use the computer as a tool to generate business opportunities. I started out designing programs for cataloging images for photographers, and created a sports-card cataloging program for a Collector Card store. As I became more experienced with computers, I began doing repair wok for friends and family, and then building websites. I left electronics sales to become a full-time computer tech, and never looked back!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
50 percent of our work is spyware and virus removal. 20 percent is general troubleshooting Windows and other software problems 20 percent is data recovery 10 percent is hardware related and "other"
