    Rick is awesome! I have been consistantly training with Rick twice a week for the past 6 weeks. He will work your butt off and keep you motivated along the way with positive encouragement! I have learned so much about trigger point and the importance of regeneration of the body. As I am training for a marathon, Rick goes above and beyond to message and see how my long runs went before we even meet for our next session. Rick truly has his best interest in his clients!

    I have always hated to exercise, but I knew I needed to get my butt back in shape (proverbial and actual)! I have many friends who are CPTs that even offered their services, but it was recommended that I try Rick out and I am glad I did! Not only did I receive specialized attention and a fitness regimen tailored for my fitness level and health goals, I also gained a lifelong champion and cheerleader who encourages me 24/7 to pursue the best health (physically and mentally) that I possibly can. If you are looking for some one who will go easy on you, find another trainer! But if you want to go to the next level in your health and wellness and be given the tools to STAY there, the best person for the task is Rick Applewhite. I am 25lbs down and counting and exercising LIFE thanks to him!!

    I must say I was very hesitant about getting a personal trainer, because I have an 8 year old and my time is limited, but I needed the motivation and the drive, especially since I was training for my 1st half marathon ever with ERC, and getting married this year. I needed something full-proof and convenient. After meeting Rick through our marathon training, he showed us ways we didn't even think of that would prevent us from having injuries during our running season. I was amazed at his techniques which helped and gave instant results. I was sold enough to continue on with personal training because he tailor-made it to fit my hectic schedule.     I met Rick when the Elijah Running Club visited John Hall Studios for tips on strength training to complement our running regiment. His knowledge, motivation, and overall energy compelled me to sign up for his boot camp and he has been awesome! Rick has a holistic approach to working with clients that ultimately helps your mind, body, and spirit. Rick has helped me improve my runs by showing me the proper running technique to avoid injury, strengthened key body areas, and improved my cardio vascular stamina. He's one of the BEST!

    I have been working out with Rick for over 7 months. What started with a 2 month "trial" session has turned into a much needed lifestyle change for me. Rick not only motivates me to do that extra pushup, he also encourages me to be sucesssful in all aspects of life! With his continued motivation and training strategies this is a wonderful journey!     Rick has a powerful way of making you believe that all things are attainable, not only with physical exercise, but other areas of one's life! He helped me see that all aspects of my life are connected and starting with an exercise regimen is the key to allowing those "other" areas of life functioning effectively and efficiently! Rick helped me tap into the fitness area that was dying for so long! Because of his expertise and training, I think clearer and have developed a stamina like I have never known. He has also helped me access a power and motivation inside of my spirit that keeps me dedicated to working out! He's awesome at want he does and you definitely won't be disappointed! Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is simple. There are three levels of training. Power Level: 2 Sessions Per Week Accelerated Level: 3 Sessions Per Week Chair Level: 3 Sessions Per Week + Group Training Classes. And we also offer group rates. Please contact us for rates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
For years I worked in the corporate world and after a while I noticed that everyone was time-deficient. Most people in order to be successful in their career had to be time deficient! There had to be a better way. Then my background as an advisor and award winning athlete came together. I really wanted to see others be successful in finding their purpose. Hence Exercise Life!
