- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$125 for just a consult. $115/hour for full staging when I am there in the trenches moving furniture, decorating etc. $50.00 flat fee for renting décor if needed. $10.00 Distance fee over 20 miles one way. (Crystal Lake the starting point) I also offer Virtual Staging. $20 per room view up to 5 rooms and $25 for all rooms over 5. $50.00 photo shoot if client does not have adequate pictures.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have two ways depending on the situation. I either will come out all in one visit where I go through each room with the client and begin staging each one. Sometimes clients just need a quick paint consultation or want me to come by first to see what they can do before I get there. On average it takes about 3 hours for a 2000 Sq. Ft. home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
QC Design is where I graduated with an "A" in Staging. I also have a background in real estate, relocation and appraisals...I was an agent for 6 years and worked at a Relocation company. I am always reading trends online and get a magazine on design and DIY ideas.
