I have been playing guitar for about 12 years. As a young kid who with no clear path or direction Brad inspired me to persue a career in music. I graduated from Elmhurst college with a bachelors degree in music business and minor in audio engineering. Throughout my journey and college studies I have had many music teachers but none that taught me more than Brad. Not just music, but life lessons that will shape you into a better person. I wish I could have continued my studies with Brad throughout college and with that being said if you have the opportunity to study with him now you’d be foolish to pass it up.Feb 20, 2020
Working and learning with Brad is an energetic and beneficial experience. I was lucky enough to jam every week for about 6 years with this teacher. Brad not only taught me new scales, chords, and music theory, but also taught me how to teach myself guitar. Brad's extensive knowledge of music and guitar has improved my overall progression as a musician.Dec 25, 2019Brad Conroy Music's reply
Thank you young Jedi!
I really enjoy working with Brad. He keeps me motivated and excited about the guitar. I appreciate his well-rounded approach and how he explains how different skills and techniques work together. His ability to find your weakness as a player and strengthen them is quite remarkable. He is always helping me elevate my play to the next level. He balances fun and enjoyment with demand and work. He makes the guitar grind a magnificent journey.Dec 25, 2019

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Students pay for their lessons at the beginning of each month, and I ask for a commitment to your time slot for the semester. I will do my best to find alternate times in case of a conflict, and do offer make-up lessons as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I start with a 30 min trial lesson to access the students needs, level, and to make sure that we are a good fit. If the student feels that they are a good fit for my studio, we will begin with a 30 min weekly lesson, and as the student begins to make significant progress I will recommend that they move to a 45 min or 1 hour weekly lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have both a B.M. and M.M. degree in classical guitar performance, have been extremely active as a performer, as well as a very committed and dedicated teacher for the past 20 years.
