We were really impressed with Chano and his crew. He took his time and did accurate measurements of the house before giving us an estimate. Our floors look amazing and we are so happy we decided to use thier company!

Our floors look amazing! We had 50 year old oak floors that had been abused over the years and now we have the perfect stain, the perfect finish, and an overall great experience. We lived in our lower level while most of our house was being worked on and Chano and his crew were careful to keep us sealed off from the rest of the house so any dust and the smell of the stain and sealer wouldn't bother us. They cleaned up our house afterward too so all we have to do is move back upstairs. We are happy with both the service and the end product. We highly recommend A Plus.

On a fluke, I typed in on Thumbtack that I needed a engineered hardwood floor installed in my living room/dining-room and the same rooms needed paint. I received a reply from Chano ( A Plus Decorating ) within minutes. The next day Chano came out and gave me an estimate, it was reasonable/ not low but competitive, and I hired him. The paint job turned out to be the best ever, not only did they paint but filled in any and all imperfections and nail holes on the walls! Turned out great! I also love my new engineered hardwood floor, it turned out fabulous! Chano and his crew were always on time, clean and professional. On the days Chano ( the owner ) could not be here, he would show up at the end of the day to inspect the work that was done, he really cares and takes great pride in EVERYTHING he and his employees do. We have already told him that we want him to do more painting and wall repair next spring in another room. I would without hesitation recommend this company!! They did such a nice job on the the floors. They took the time to seal off the entire house from the job site. For such a messy job there was surprisingly little dust throughout the house. They showed up on time each day and were able to accommodate my timelines. You couldn't ask for better service or quality. Job was delivered on time for the price quoted and at a very high quality.

Chano and his family team did a wonderful job refinishing my floors. They worked everyday until the job was completed and they left my house almost dust-free. They also went "above and beyond" to fix a few bathroom tiles that had fallen off months ago. I chose Chano because he had a VERY good knowledge of wood/stains, etc. Will use again for my next project!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a part time painter during my last year of high school. My goal was to obtained a college degree, but after I assisting one college semester I realized that college was not a fit for me.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When You Buy Price Alone... You Can Never Be Sure
It is unwise to pay too much... but it is worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money... that's all. But when you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything- because the thing you bought is incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run. And, if you do that, you have enough to pay for quality.
