- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen. Envision. Anticipate. Network. Implement. Normalize. The Lean In Lifestyle Change Process is collaborative, and designed to help you put what you already know into action. In the initial meeting or two, you'll talk about what you’d like to change, what’s worked (and what hasn’t), what inspires and motivates you, why you value these goals, and why now is the time for you to make lasting change. We'll dig in to what will be different when you achieve success, how you’ll feel, and how you’ll interact with those close to you. We’ll also acknowledge what may get in your way, or who may hold you back. We’ll identify the people in your Network of Excellence—those people who will support you achieve your goals. Coach Karen will then work with you to connect your unique experiences to build a plan specific to your health and fitness goals. Grounded in the science of lifestyle and performance management, your plan will align food, movement and behavior change to your goals. The plan may include modifying current eating habits, developing healthier eating habits, adopting new or adapting current movement and training schedules, taking small steps in a consistent direction, managing risk factors, and ensuring sustainability. The plan will also include ways to celebrate successes – small and large – along the way.
