If I could choose more things that I like about working with Denise, I would choose everything! I have so enjoyed the two months I've been working with her on my voice and see a huge improvement from where we started. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an initial meeting where we discuss goals and also do a vocal assessment using some simple warm ups and exercises! We then plan a strategy and set up our next block of lessons!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at McNally Smith College of Music in St Paul MN. Vocal Performance Major. I’ve been in different music jobs (paid/volunteer) all my life! From theater to cover bands to church musician! For the past 10 years I have worked with people from various genres, punk rock to opera and everything in between!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this work because I find great joy in helping people discover their own unique gifts! I love performing and have met many people that way and just love helping others prepare for their performances be that in theater, rock bands, school ensembles or for their church!
