I think each person who does this type of work has a huge desire not just for working with animals, but has to truly have a caregiver personality. We obviously have our own individual personality that we use to communicate and connect not only with owner, but to the pets as well. And animals can sense that right away. I care for the smaller breed dogs in my home. Here they are part of the family! I love animals, always have. I have been doing this for close to 20 years and its been a wonderful experience, meeting great people and their amazing pets. It has been a hugely rewarding part of my life, career. I have cared for more "unusual" pets such as reptiles, rodents, snakes, exotic birds, which is how I got my start, chickens, alpacas and llamas. I love to meet new pets, make new friends and learn new experiences. Let me know if I can help you with your pet care needs. Home sitting provided for those on extended out of town travel as well, for plant care, lawn care and peace of mind. I concentrate my area of service to the Fox Valley corridor, including Aurora, Naperville, parts of Plainfield, Montgomery and Oswego. For dog boarding, larger breeds are welcome based on availability, needs to be well socialized, up-to-date on vaccinations. We have a large fenced-in yard to play in, in a very dog friendly neighborhood.
