- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For private events, depending on distance, day of the week and time on the gig, I charge between $200 and $400 plus $25 in travel cost. I do not charge extra for bringing additional instruments. Pricing for 2 performers ranges from $300-$500 and for the full 4 member band if $750 plus $50 in travel and setup.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with lots of questions; the venue, he event, musical choices...the basics. Beyond that I try to engage my customers with 'if your music for the day/night is perfect, what does that look like", then let me taylor the event toward that goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 plus years playing music across many genres and 6 different instruments, band settings and solo, playing covers and originals, plus over 70 happy brides and other private events.
