Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. The most common job I do is a full service inspection in conjunction with a property sale. Some are pre-sale inspections from seller's ensuring they don't have any surprises in the sale process. Most are pre-purchase inspections from buyers making sure they don't have any buyer's remorse.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The best advice when hiring anyone is do your research, even in regards to referrals.
Make sure they are not only competent in their knowledge but, that they can pass that knowledge on to you in a way that you understand it.
Finally, make sure they will answer your questions even after the inspection.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We stand out from our competition because: we give outstanding service at competitive prices;
our customized report is user friendly for both home owner and contractor;
and we are there to advise and help you even after the inspection and closing for as long as you own your home.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. That it's never the same job twice. With different clients, different properties and building trades always evolving; you always have to stay on our toes and make sure you know what you are doing. It's never boring.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Should we buy the house?
Legally, I can't answer that question. And really it's not as simple as yes or no. Everyone's situation is different.
But, every house is worth buying as long as you know what your are getting, you can manage the maintenance and repairs and you are getting it for the right price.
