I was moving from one unit in my building to another. It had the potential to be a fairly complicated job as my the move entailed trekking 4 flights down, around the corner to a separate entrance, and then back up another 4 flights. Travis of Family Moving & Storage was incredibly responsive, gave a reasonable quote, and followed up several times to ensure I was comfortable moving forward with all questions answered. Even when there was some miscommunication with the hired movers, Family Moving & Storage did everything to make sure I was out of my old unit and set up to make a home of my new one by the end of the scheduled day. I had the pleasure of working with them for a 3 bedroom move from Indiana to New Jersey. They arrived 10 minutes early, and right off the bat were friendly and up front about walking me through their pricing and process. James noticed a nick on a side table, and one of them noticed a crack in a piece of furniture and both were quick to bring it to my attention. We were ready to move and on the appointed day, my mover bailed on me. We were able to get a hold of Verly, who sent a crew. By 1:00 we were packing. The 3 man crew worked their tales off and everything was moved into the new house and into a storage unit. When we were done, it was 10:45 at night. I have yet to find anything broken. It was a very hot day but they never complained, had great sense of humor and went out of their way to do everything that they could. Also they charged me about $500 less than I was going to pay the other firm. They were my saviors.
