I hired Plae to cater a forty fiesta birthday party for my husband this past May. Christy was fantastic! She met with me several times to answer my questions and offered lots of ideas to make my event perfect. The result was a full made to order taco bar and a beverage station which included signature drinks such as sangria and spiked strawberry lemonade. Plae took care of everything from setup to cleanup. Our guests were not only impressed with the great tasting food but also the friendly professional staff. The service provided was outstanding and we will definitely use Plae again for future parties.

We just had plae cater my son's birthday party. They did an amazing job. The food was fantastic, everyone at the party was raving about it. They were very efficient and Christy was extremely helpful. They did a great job putting everything together and then cleaning up afterwards. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again!

Hiring Plae for our wedding party was the best thing we could have done. Christy and her husband were absolutely wonder, going way above and beyond, and we cannot say enough good things about them, their food, their service, and how our party turned out!
We met with Christy to discuss what Plae had to offer for our party and she came up with a few things that were one-of-a-kind and unique to our personalities, which really made our party stand out. We used Christy as a Coordinator and it really took the pressure and small details off of us. She listened to our input and really ran with a few ideas to make our day unforgettable. She went above and beyond, coming on-location the day before the event to hang lighting for us and make sure we had everything together. She made sure we had everything we wanted, and found the best deals in town, which we really appreciated. She was very easy-going and go with the flow, which was perfect when guests had surprises throughout the evening. She literally thought of everything we didnt and went above and beyond to ensure our party ran on schedule and seamlessly throughout the night. We had a blast and had no worries all night thanks to Christys Coordinator service!
We opted to have the bar set-up at our party, and Christy did it so well! She supplied everything you could think of and had options for you to choose from. She made 2 fresh juice mixers to make 2 signature cocktails, and had fun drink garnishes ready to go. She hired a bartender for the event, who was just great!
Now let me get to the best and most important part of this review the food! We had the Mexican food package and HOLY COW it was glorious. Everything was homemade and incredible.. and we know and love Mexican food, like authentic Mexican food is our favorite so we have high expectations, and Plae hit it on the head with their family recipes straight from Mexico!
The appetizers were delicious Christy makes the best pork tamales weve ever had! The dinner with their grill was an awesome set up everything was made to order so it was all hot and fresh and they really have it down to a science so your guests are not waiting to start chowing down. We had Al Pastor Pork (the crowd favorite!), Fajita Chicken, and Carne Asada all delicious, and they even had fries and chicken nuggets for the kids (lets be real - and for most of the adults who couldnt resist, too). Another great touch was their accommodations to food allergies and special diets you have no need to worry about this, they will take care of everything for you to ensure food is separated/prepared as needed. We also had a beautiful fruit platter from her father-in-law, who has a fruit tray business, which was hard to eat because it looked like a piece of art and too impressive to eat, but we did demolish since it was perfect to have on a warm August evening. We also had a 3-tier cake brought in that Christy cut for us and set up on a table with a coffee bar.. it was perfect. She also brought another round of appetizers out for our late night munching needs.
Everyone loved the food and were still getting compliments on the food 2 months later - people will be talking about our party for years to come! All of the set-up was slick and professional, and perfect for our wedding party.
We are super grateful that we went with Plae. Christy and her husband could not have been better with our party needs. If you are looking for a party host, wedding helper, or outstanding food, STOP LOOKING and do yourself a favor and go with Plae, you will not be disappointed. My family is already planning to use Plae for our future family BBQs and get together, which cant come soon enough because Im really craving this food again now that Im writing about it! Thanks for everything Christy and Jose, cant wait to hire you again and spread the word as much as we can, you deserve it!

Plae catered our wedding in June and Christy was our wedding coordinator as well and we are so happy that we went with Plae and Christy for our wedding! The food was fantastic! We got so many compliments throughout the night and afterwards on how great the food was. We went with the Mexican taco buffet as well as Mexican style appetizers. Christy was wonderful about working within our budget and was very receptive and creative in how we could meet our dining needs on budget. We also hired Christy to be our coordinator for the wedding which included brainstorming planning ideas, clean up, and tear down after the wedding. Christy had great ideas that helped save us a lot of money regarding transportation, hair/makeup, centerpieces, etc. She charged a small fee for this which is MUCH lower than other coordinators and well worth it! The entire reception ran very smoothly thanks to Christy. She worked with our DJ and photographer to make sure the evening was well orchestrated and everyone knew where they had to be and when. She assembled and organized our entire venue with the items I gave her. I gave her creative freedom with extra decorations I had and I'm very glad I did. From top to bottom, Plae is a great company, well-run, and very easy to work with. Christy was very accessible and willing to put in a lot of time and effort to ensure things went according to what we wanted. I would highly recommend Plae for any future catering events.
