- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a complimentary first lesson for new students. Lessons are paid for on a monthly basis at the first lesson of each month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After speaking with the parent/student and learning about your previous experience with piano, I will recommend the materials (usually about 3) that I think would be best suited for the student to get started with. As the student progresses and feels more comfortable with the basics, I like to diversify the repertoire and supplement with additional materials that help the student achieve his/her own musical goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano since I was six years old, and even studied music at Augustana College. In addition, I have played clarinet and piano in various ensembles since elementary school.
