It's crucial for the student (especially teenagers) to connect with the tutorer and I can say without hesitation Wendi does? Not only does Wendi instruct on content, she encourages and teaches strategies. My son's pretest score for the ACT was 19 and after only four weeks of prep improved to 25. Wendi is truly a blessing to our family!

Mr. Glen is the best tutor in the world. He worked with my son and daughter in math and ACT Prep. He supported my daughter in Geometry, Calculus. Algebra II / Trigonometry, Calculus AB and ACT Prep. He supported my son in the same areas plus Algebra. It's is very important to him that your children fully understands the concepts and are not simply working problems by memorizing steps. He truly cares about your children performing at the highest level. There were times if he didn't finish something with them during the hour, he would call the house to follow up. He always keeps my husband and I posted on their progress and he let's them know directly how well they are doing. He really allowed my husband and I to have peace of mind by helping to prepare our kids academically. He is very professional and works with us to accommodate busy schedules by having hours later in the evening. Both my sone and daughter respected Mr Glen and enjoyed what he helped them accomplish. We thank God that Mr Glen is a part of our village.

Chaavi is an intuitive teacher. She not only teaches the subject for my son, she created the passion to write more. She is friendly and my daughter loves to go to her class. We definitely see academic improvements as well as interests for the subjects within our children.

We worked together for about 4 hours over 2 sessions to get myself ready for the GRE. We used a variety of materials, including websites, prep books, and lessons at my home to help get me prepared for all the sections of the exam. Throughout the lessons, Steve kept detailed notes on my performance to help track improvement and keep me updated on my progress. I have yet to take the test, but I have a much more solid idea of how to prepare for it, and he was able to handle all of the different scheduling challenges I had for prep. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My 8th grader and sophomore are both being tutored for Math and Mike has been a great help. Even after just a couple sessions I can see that my children are more confident in the subject. He's taught them to understand more in depth what they are being taught in school.

My daughter received excellent score of 780(scale of 800) on New SAT-Math thanks to Mr. Patel's expertise. Her previous score was 610. We were struggling to find the teacher for New SAT. She is not fond of word problems and gets frustrated. But Mr. Patel was able to make concepts much simpler and easier to understand. We also signed up for his College Consulting Service, where his team of professional coaches work with us one on one at a fraction of the cost. We are very satisfied and definitely refer Mr. Patel to my friends and family. Thanks Mr. Patel for your support.

After completing the ACT prep course at Learning Ascent, my son got a composite score of 30. English: 32, Math: 33, Reading: 29, and Science: 26. He took the writing portion too, but we do not have results for that yet. Prior to tutoring, his score on a practice ACT test was a 26. The tutors Sean worked with helped him improve his scores. Overall, very happy with his results!

I could not have been happier with the results from using More Than S.A.T. in preparation for the ACT. While my older children had used other prep courses for the ACT with satisfactory results, I decided to make a change for my youngest child. More Than S.A.T. had a more unique approach to studying for the ACT. More Than S.A.T’s academic coach was able to tailor a study program specific to my son’s strengths and weaknesses. What’s more, the consultant’s suggestions as to how to manage the test, while taking it, were very beneficial. The result: a 6 point increase. Thank you, More Than S.A.T.!

Atlas tutor came to my home for tutoring SAT to my 9th grader son and his friend once a week for one and half hr, for 18 weeks. Atlas tutor was very helpful. Very punctual and flexible. My son and his friend enjoyed the company of tutor and learning from him. Being just couple of years difference between my son and tutor, he felt very comfortable learning from the tutor. I will highly recommend Atlas tutoring service to anyone.

Hello! My name is Enyi O., and I just graduated from Harvard University in May 2013. At Harvard, I majored in Neurobiology with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. I also served as president of Harvard's Nigerian Student Association and manager of the Harvard Men's Varsity Tennis Team. Before I left for Harvard, I attended Marian Catholic High School, where I was captain of the tennis team and a National Honor Society board member. While in high school, I scored a 35 on the ACT (35 English, 36 Math, 34 Reading, and 34 Science) and scored above 700 on 3 different SAT II Subject Tests (770 Math Level II, 760 Chemistry, and 710 History). Since then, I've been able to help over 85 students improve their ACT scores by an average of 4.3 points. In the past, I've worked for Revolution Prep, a leading national test prep company, and Gold Test Prep, a test prep company run by Harvard students. Right now, I'm preparing for business school, and I'm looking to help out current high-school students who wish to score high on the ACT or SAT. I'm offering one-on-one tutoring, both online and in person in the south suburbs of Chicago. I am flexible in regards to price and location, because I truly love to help students achieve their ACT score goals. Having applied and been accepted to 20 highly selective colleges (including all the Ivy Leagues), I am also providing extensive college admissions consulting, from general application strategies and essay reviews to mock interviews. Finally, in terms of tutoring and admissions consulting, I am offering free 30-minute to 1-hour consultations to discuss student goals, general test strategies, and the college admissions process. Please feel free to contact me if you want to know more about my services or experience. Thank you!
