I make learning fun and teach my students not only to play the piano but empower them to bring out the musician in them that they didn't know they had. Music theory is implemented into the lessons as part of the lessons not an extra. Students will know the why's of what they are learning. I prepare my students to also perform in a recital where they play 2-3 pieces in front of parents, friends and family. What I like most about my job is seeing how my students transform from a person that had the dream of learning how to play the piano to the musician that has enlightened their parents, family members and friends with their tunes. All their knowledge doesn't stop at the piano, all the techniques and abilities are being utilized in their personal life with other matters. To see students flourish in life is just priceless!
