Thanks Luleta! You all were a fun group to play for... especially when a lot of you sang along to "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You." 😊

Vicky was very responsive, helped with music selection. She and pianist arrived on time to our event and performed beautifully. Our guests were singing to the music. Would definitely recommend!Dec 15, 2019VerifiedViolin by Vicki's reply
Thanks Kathy for the excellent review! One of the tables nearest us clapped when we play Beauty and the Beast. 😊

Vicki played beautifully for our small elopement wedding at the alfred caldwell lily pond. She was very responsive and professional. Her work when she played, Here comes the sun by the Beatles while I walked to my husband was perfect! Thank you Vicki!Sep 5, 2020VerifiedViolin by Vicki's reply
Thank you Nikki, I really appreciate it! Hope you had a wonderful honeymoon!

We highly recommend Violin by Vicki. They adapted quickly to our changing needs especially when we had to deal with unexpected rain and move our ceremony indoors at the last minute.Aug 19, 2020Verified

Vicki was great! She and her guitarist played beautifully. They required very little direction and nailed everything perfectly! They were reasonably priced and could not have been better. I highly recommend.Nov 27, 2019VerifiedViolin by Vicki's reply
Thanks Tracy...I really appreciate your review, as it helps us connect with other prospective clients!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not list prices. A price is given when a client requests a quote. There is not an hourly price, but the bulk of the pricing is always in the first hour, and then much less for additional hours. As an example, hiring a violinist for 2hrs is only $75 more than it is for 1hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When a customer requests a quote, specific information such as type of music ensemble (solo, violin/guitar duo, trio, quartet), day, time, duration, and location is needed. Most communication takes place via email or phone contact if desired. I generally do not meet in person prior to the event, since audio/video clips are posted online. When a client decides they want to hire our services, I email them a contract to complete and sign. They can mail it back with the requested deposit, or they can scan/email the contract to me, and send the deposit via their mobile banking app.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In high school and in college I studied with 2 former members of the Chicago symphony. I graduated from Sherwood Music Conservatory in Chicago (now a department of Columbia College). I was a member of the Chicago Civic Orchestra while in college, and a few years afterwards. I am a union member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians. I have been performing as solo violinists and also part of music ensembles for weddings and parties since the mid-'90's.
