- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For cello lessons and music theory lessons, my fee is $60/hour and I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons. I recommend having lessons weekly. For event performances, my fee is $125 per hour per musician. This includes the performance, consultation, choice of music from our library, demo recordings, travel, sound check, and instrument maintenance. This fee does not include special event insurance, special arrangement requests, or additional recordings, but those are available for an additional fee.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents are both music teachers, and I’ve looked up to them my whole life. At 11, I began playing the cello, at 15 I began teaching the cello and doing paid performances, and at 16 I began studying music theory.
