I really appreciated how Lalo was able to fit in my dishwasher installation on less than a day’s notice. This was my kitchen’s first dishwasher, so he had a lot to do! First, he made a trip to Home Depot to pick up supplies I hadn’t already bought. He then installed a GFCI outlet under the sink and fed appropriate wiring through conduit that I had previously installed, connecting everything to a new breaker in the breaker box. He then implemented all plumbing connections while prepping/installing the dishwasher itself (an ~50-step process). Throughout the installation, he was kind enough to explain how and why he was doing different things, so it was a great learning experience for me! Later that evening when I discovered an error due to a wire that became disconnected during installation, he promptly replied with the information I needed to make the correction myself. I’m really pleased with the value of the installation, which was significantly lower than another quote that I received for this project. If you’re looking for someone to help you with a similar project, Lalo’s your guy!

The repairman came promptly but was unable to complete installation of dishwasher. He went to local hardware twice to get a part. He said he identified a different problem/faulty part. He suggested the shutoff cock valve under the sink need to be changed (an additional $250.) However this valve wasn’t leaking and didn’t seem faulty. He came at 5p and left after 9p, he stated he needed a deposit and the price would be “adjusted “ and he would return the next day. He didn’t return the next day due to the part not being delivered ( I wasn’t aware an additional had to be ordered). However he did return the promptly the next day to complete the task. Ultimately he wanted reimbursed for parts (it would of been nice to see receipts) and an additional $65 because the job took longer than expected. Apparently “adjusted “ means an increase in price despite being inconvenienced.
