Billing itself is calculated in "tenths" of an hour. To illustrate, I will 0.1 for 1-6 minutes of work, 0.2 for 6-12 minutes, 0.3 for 12-18 minutes, 0.4 for 18-24 minutes, and 0.5 for 24-30 minutes of work done. I am able to answer any questions during an initial consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first and most important step is the initial consultation, which is always free to reduce pressure. During the initial consultation, I answer any question the client may have regarding the process, regarding myself professionally. We also discuss the potential client's goals and lay out a litigation strategy to accomplish those goal. Once I am retained, I immediately take action to accomplish those goals. The goal are periodically review and revised based upon the client's wishes and evolution of the case.
