Growing up in the nineties, he is a student of throwback hip-hop. Growing up on Wu-Tang Clan, Gang Starr, Mos Def and more, he learned at an early age what it means to be a real DJ and properly rock the party! However, as any great DJ will tell you its never about just one genre. The best DJ's are fans of music as a whole. Thats why when BoatHouse is spinning expect to hear everything from timeless dance-floor classics (Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, etc.) to classic rock, (The Outfield, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Beatles), Soul, (Al Green, Morris Day, Marvin Gaye), Pop (Brittany Spears, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Dua Lipa) and of course, new and throwback Hip-Hop. With over 10 years of DJ experience, whether its the club scene in Chicago, Lollapalooza, a bar-mitzvah or your wedding, DJ BoatHouse is passionate about his craft and always brings the missing ingredient to anywhere that needs music.
