Finding a trustworthy electrician can be stressful, so when I needed electrical work done, I searched Thumbtack and came across Omar with The Handy Studdds. What immediately stood out was how incredibly responsive he was. He replied quickly, and after our very first conversation, I could already tell he was knowledgeable, experienced, and took great pride in his work.
Before we even ended our initial phone call, Omar had scheduled a visit for the very next morning to see the space in person and provide a quote. Not only did he show up on time… he actually arrived early! From the moment he arrived, he was patient, professional, and took the time to answer every single question I had. He explained the entire process in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident, so we scheduled the installation for the following day.
Once again, Omar arrived early, fully prepared with all of the necessary tools and materials. He carefully removed my old light fixtures and beautifully installed my new ones. The project required more than a simple fixture replacement, he also installed an additional electrical box and a new light switch so that each fixture would have its own dedicated switch. His attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness were evident every step of the way.
What impressed me even more was his willingness to go above and beyond. During our conversation, he mentioned that he also offers light plumbing services. I asked if he could take a look at my newly installed sink, which had been improperly installed by my building's maintenance team. Without hesitation, Omar took the time to disassemble it, properly realign it, tighten everything, and reinstall it correctly right then and there. He didn't have to do that, but he genuinely cared about making sure everything in my space was done the right way.
Before leaving, Omar carefully tested all of the electrical work, double-checked the sink installation, cleaned up his work area, protected my floors throughout the project, and even purchased additional materials without complaint to ensure everything was completed properly. He stayed later than expected simply because he refused to cut corners.
His pricing was fair, transparent, and well worth every penny. More importantly, the quality of his work speaks for itself. The new lighting has completely transformed my space, and I honestly cannot stop admiring it.
What I appreciated most was Omar's character. He has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people and takes tremendous pride in delivering quality work. In today's world, it's rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also honest, dependable, and truly invested in doing the job right.
