Overall it was a great experience. The home detectives were very thorough and explained any questions that we had. He took extra time to allow us to write things down although he was sending us a report with everything that he went over. Will use again and recommend to anyone needing a home inspection. Great job!May 3, 2016Verified
David was great! As a General Contractor myself I wanted to get a second set of eyes on the home to make sure I wasn't missing anything in my own inspection. David was on time, through, and extremely knowledgeable. The report was delivered within 24 hours and we were very happy with the overall process. Highly recommended.Feb 16, 2016Verified
As a first time home buyer I was very impressed by David! He was very informative and explained everything very thoroughly. He took his time and did not rush the inspection. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector.Jan 29, 2016Verified

We appreciated David's thorough review of our home. He took the time to understand our concerns and provided a detailed report the same day. He even went a step further and sent us a helpful guide on home maintenance tips for after the inspection.Aug 3, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The pricing for home inspections is pretty basic. It's mostly based on square footage. Some inspectors charge more for older homes (75+ years). Some charge for travel time or weekends. We charge by square footage and age only. No extras for travel time or weekends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have completed 57 hours of continued education this year. Illinois licensing requirements are only 6 hours per year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I enjoy performing home inspections. It is important for the home inspector to help clients make an informed decision. Sometimes my inspections help a client avoid making a terrible purchase.
