They were able to diagnose and try to repair my spa. They provided me with competitive pricing about 20 to 30% lower than competitors but still offering top quality beyond my expectations. They tried to troubleshoot the spa pack and realized I would need a new one as rats have bit through all the wiring. After a few visits, they spoke with me and tried some plumbing repairs. Filling up the water it still leaked. Because the enclosed sunroom was built around the spa, the spa had to be cut up so they removed it piece by piece. They did it with such professionalism and ingenuity that I hired them to dispose of the spa and install decking to cover where the spa was. I was surprised that this spa specialist was able to do hvac, plumbing, electrical, gas, demolition, and decking. They are really responsive to messaging and willing to work with you on anything you may want to achieve.

Matthew came and attempted to diagnose the issue with why my dishwasher was not fully draining. Ultimately, after taking the dishwasher apart he told me that the drain pump had gone bad and provided a model number of the part to purchase and said he would come back, install it and put everything back together. Unfortunately, the part that I was instructed to purchase was not correct. Matthew actually told me at one point that appliances were not his forte, while at the end of taking apart my dishwasher. On two occasions I came in the kitchen to see him watching how to videos on YouTube. Time was wasted by me to get the new part, more time will be wasted to try to return this incorrect part, the old part was destroyed while trying to piece together something with the new part and my dishwasher is still in shambles. I am now much worse off than I was before. Initially my dishwasher worked, just did not drain fully. Now its in pieces and a mess in my kitchen. To get someone to repair it at this point will likely cost more than just replacing it with a new one. On top of all of that, when taking things apart, the drainage hose attached to my garbage disposal was removed and never replaced. When using my sink after he left, water poured out of this opening all over the kitchen and down into my basement. I asked about this after it happened and he told me he was going to block the hole, but didn't. I initially paid Matthew $175 for the diagnosis and break down of the issue with another $75 due upon installation of the new pump. Due to all of these issues, I have asked for a refund and have not received one. At this point he has stopped replying to text messages, phone calls or Thumbtack messages. UPDATE: Fairly certain that I could find someone else to tear apart my dishwasher and fix nothing for less than $175. How Matthew can stand behind his work when he legitimately did nothing to resolve my issue is amazing to me. Yeah, I found the exact model number part that he provided me cheaper at a different appliance parts store, but clearly that was not the right part number. His knowledge of appliance repair is unfortunately not strong and his refusal to refund my money for his 'same day service' which left me in worse position than I was before. At this point his reply to my review is the only reply he has given me which is beyond unprofessional.
