FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the complexity and compliance of the work being performed. We follow IICRC standards for water, fire, and mold restoration, meaning no shortcuts. Smaller jobs may be priced by the hour or square foot. Insurance-based projects follow line-item billing through Xactimate. We can often provide free quotes, but formal written estimates that include detailed scopes, measurements, or protocols are a billable service unless part of an insurance claim. Be cautious with low bids — they often skip necessary steps. We see a lot of failed or incomplete work that ends up costing the homeowner more in the long run. We're transparent and will walk you through everything to make sure you're not just getting a good price — you're getting real value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a quick discovery call or message to assess your needs. We’ll ask a few key questions and, if necessary, schedule a walkthrough. If it’s an insurance claim, we’ll document the damage, write a compliant scope of work, and even communicate directly with your adjuster if needed. We’re known for being responsive, detailed, and clear — that means fewer surprises and better results. Whether mitigation or repairs, our process is built around solid documentation, code compliance, and clear timelines.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We’re certified in: Water Damage Restoration (WRT) Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT) Odor Control (OCT) Mold Remediation (AMRT) Carpet & Textile Cleaning (CCT) We’re a certified firm with the IICRC and the International Restoration Institute (IRI) and stay up to date on building codes, material safety laws, and industry protocols. We also have a licensed asbestos abatement partner, so we can legally and safely handle hazardous materials when needed. Unlike many companies, we also have licensed public adjusters on staff. That means we don’t just understand mitigation — we understand insurance policy language, claim procedures, and documentation standards inside and out. Here’s what most people don’t know: Less than 10% of public adjusters hold IICRC certifications, and most desk adjusters working insurance files never set foot on your property — they often don’t have WRT, FSRT, or field experience. We build scopes that follow code, industry standards, and real-world jobsite conditions — and that’s why we consistently get better results.
