Introduction: Growing up on the South-Side of Chicago, enduring childhood traumas, witnessing familial drug and alcohol addiction, losing family members to drug overdose and suicide, rediscovering her worth after failed relationships, overcoming postpartum anxiety, the devastated grief after the loss of her youngest brother to gun violence, opening a luxury retail business (N'DACE) in the midst of a global pandemic, succeeding in multi-family real estate, mentoring under-served youth and providing re-entry tools to those formerly incarcerated, Candace D. Green is the definition of "Beauty For Ashes".
