Introduction: After completing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in crossover-training as well as a Bachelors in Theatre Arts and a foreign language minor, I have sung for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, The Bluewater Kings Band (Voted America's #1 party band by The Knot), and have been a winner of the International CS Music Theatre competition multiple years in a row. Nicole is not only a genuinely kind and nurturing teacher but also has a deep understanding of strong, healthy technique. Her musicality is mesmerizing to watch, as she performs from the top of her head to the tips of her toes, and can teach you how to do so as well in simple, understandable language that is customized to your personal learning style. She is an excellent teacher and an wonderful person, you don't want to miss out on your chance to study with her!

This lady is amazing. She's got a wealth of technique and she is affordable. I usually go to the instructors that a heavy duty, however those guys charge an arm and a leg. But then If I go to the cheaper ones I become ill prepared. Going to Nicole keeps me confident as she is the only one I trust with keeping me warm and rehearsed for when I go to big auditions. She's the perfect regular coach to have and you won't break your budget. Thank God for her.

I worked with Nicole Chamberlain at a summer program (Tyrolean Opera Program) in Austria in 2014. She is a joy to be around, and I cherish her friendship both in a personal and professional aspect. She sings and performs with grace and poise. When we performed part of Mozart's Impressario together as battling sopranos, we had an absolute blast being pretend arch enemies. She is a versatile singer, and I have heard her sing everything from spirituals, to jazz, to musical theater, to opera. Being her student would be a privilege! She encourages everyone around her and always brings a positive attitude to the workplace. I highly recommend her!

As a colleague of Nicole Chamberlin, I have had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in a few performances with her including Humperdink's opera Hansel and Gretel with the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre and Gilbert&Sullivan's operetta The Mikado with the BYU-Idaho Theatre Program, both in 2012. Nicole is very talented and just a joy to work with! She was always very well prepared. She is an excellent performer, and she knows her stuff! She has a great ability to connect with and teach those with any level of experience. I highly recommend Nicole in any capacity--teaching, coaching, performing, employment, etc. She will go above and beyond your expectations!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson prices are quoted with each lesson subject, and can be purchased lesson-by-lesson. Most lessons are $65/ hour, and then vary, based on if you want more or less time, and if you are considering in studio or at home lessons. I have additional discounts that apply if you are interested in purchasing several lessons at once and in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each lesson is as unique as each student! I take pride in custom-tailoring each lesson to your unique goals for whatever subject you are studying with me. Give me a call, and let's come up with a game plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a full time musician and teacher, the best training is continuing to work in my field! I am constantly seeking new knowledge and ways of translating, or what I like to call "demystifying" my students most burning and popular questions.
