Jeanine made my life so easy as she helped me with this event. Fast to respond, excellent at communications and the food and the presentation of her "art" totally topped off my trip and more importantly, my guests experience. Top Shelf & First Class. Highly, highly recommend these good folks.

We really enjoyed having Jeanine and Darrin prepare the perfect dinner for our party. Communications before and during the event were perfect, as were the options given to us for the different courses. They arrived as scheduled, were well prepared and left everything as they found it. We would definitely considering using them again.

Darrin and Jeanine just did a wonderful job on our very unique and wonderful June 2015 wedding! Right off the back, our requests were very specific-- we wanted an ALL Vegan wedding, for 120 people. We wanted to make sure the food tasted amazing, that our well-versed vegetarian/vegan guests would be pleased, but also that our majority usual meat eating crowd would be impressed, satisfied, and forget what they "thought bland ol' vegan" food was "supposed to" taste like. Well, our guests comments were VERY positive, many telling me after the wedding how much they loved the bold choice for mole enchiladas, paella, and more... After good time discussing our themes, likes/dislikes, etc...Their company offered us a private tasting in our own home, which was a convenient and (delicious!) way to figure out that we liked them a lot! The price points were in our budget, coming in at a reasonable and realistic range for what we wanted. We would recommenced them for other events, wedding, etc!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Chef Darrin has been in the business since he was 16. The kitchen and all of its chaos and joy is where he is most comfortable. Chef Jeanine transitioned from the 9-5 "grind" type of job to pursue her passion for food. After studying in Austin, TX for a few years, she returned to the Midwest and is now partnered with Chef Darrin.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Make sure that you enjoy your chef's personality. The food will taste better if you have a connection and can tell that the chef is cooking with love.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    We have experience catering and doing personal chef work around the USA, the Caribbean and Central America.
