David catered a Chinese New Year party for us--approx. 50 guests. He did appetizers and buffet dinner--food was delicious and we got many compliments. Prep, serving and clean-up were terrific. Would definitely use David again.

I requested a drop off catering job for a small gathering I was holding in my home for friends. Chef David and I conversed on the menu options. Chef was very flexible and accommodating with a suggested menu change. He arrived on time, prepared the items as agreed in my kitchen and assisted with the layout of the serving area. He was fast and efficient. Many of the items were pre-prepared to expedite the drop off. The charcuterie and crudite were lovely, and the dips were well received by my guests. My only suggestion would be perhaps that Chef would consider purchasing a few disposable trays for the job and add it to the price of the assignment. I had to run to Party City on my own and try to guesstimate what he was going to need. It all worked out, but it would be easier if had just charged me for the platters and brought them himself.

Chef David was an absolute delight! He catered my 40th birthday party and from start to finish, everything was perfect and very professional. He responded to my many emails and questions prior to the event and created a menu that I couldn't have imagined! Given his experience, he was able to suggest what my guests would want; he was spot-on. He was incredibly friendly with a great sense of humor and the food was absolutely amazing! He worked with his own tools and we enjoyed stuffed olives, goat cheese and sundried tomato, scallops with bacon, beef skewers, curry chicken salad, and ahi tuna. He also made amazing quiches, potatoes, muffins, banana bread, and a wonderful fruit medley for brunch the following morning; all from his own fresh ingredients. The quiches melted in your mouth and I kept on wanting more the rest of the day! I would certainly love to have Chef David cater another event; he is truly marvelous!

Chef David cooked and catered my family reunion at my home recently. He was very accommodating with the menu providing our favorites - steak chimmichurri - as well as preparing vegan dishes to accommodate our guests. The food was delicious and service was excellent. New found favorites included the chorizo stuffed olives and the brussell sprouts with lentils. He left the kitchen as clean or cleaner than it was when he began. Can't say enough good things. Will definitely use him again!

David catered a baptism party for 15 guests. He did BBQ dinner. Everything was tasty. Prep, serving and clean-up were terrific. I recommend Lakeshore Private Chef & Catering and David Leigh.
