- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flat-fee design packages, so you’ll know what to expect up front. There’s no minimum project size—whether you need a single-room refresh or a full-home plan, I’ll recommend the right package for your scope. Furnishings, materials, and any contractor/vendor services are separate from the design fee and are always reviewed and approved before purchase. If delivery, installation, or trade/vendor fees apply, they’re communicated in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Discovery call to understand your goals, style, timeline, and budget 2. On-site consultation in the Chicago area (or virtual consult anywhere in the U.S.) 3. Measure + assess the space (as needed) and confirm project scope/package 4. Design direction: layout/space plan + mood board and overall concept 5. Selections: finishes, paint, lighting, furnishings, and décor (based on your needs) 6. Presentation + revisions 7. Implementation support: shopping list and sourcing links, or procurement coordination depending on package 8. Install/styling + final walkthrough (when applicable)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My work is grounded in practical design training and hands-on experience in space planning, color and materials, furnishings, and styling. I’m detail-driven and focused on creating spaces that look elevated while functioning beautifully for real life—whether it’s a primary home, a short-term rental, or a commercial space.
