Our captain happens to be a 15 year veteran, figure competitor, athlete, and also a doctor of physical therapy. We have a full service health & wellness staff that will help get you to your goal. Personal trainers, yoga & pilates instructors, massage therapists, and most importantly - our registered dietitian. Not only do you have access to everyone on our team but our team is made up from the top instructors and trainers in the Chicago-land area: -Five of our trainers have Master or Doctorate degrees -Our registered dietitian has a master's degree in Nutrition -You have access to our physical therapist for any issues such as poor mobility, pain, and poor flexibility. Prior to beginning a training program with us we offer a complimentary fitness assessment. This assessment will take place inside your apartment, office, or home. It typically takes about 45-60 minutes in length and we take all of your baseline measurements such as weight, body fat %, and tape measurements. Using these measurements we will construct a customized diet plan for you created by our dietitian. Once we discuss goals, timelines, and formulate a workout plan we will do the "fitness test". The "fitness test" involves checking your aerobic endurance, strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Using our graded system, we will figure out exactly what areas you need to improve on. Aesthetics is important, and we understand that our clients want to work on certain body groups. We are happy to help construct programs to target those specific areas by request. When someone asks me what I love most about my job the answer is very simple. I love seeing results. I specifically love when clients email me on how exercise changed their life either by eliminating back pain, getting off blood pressure/cholesterol medications, and making them feel more secure about their body.

My experience with my Chitown Trainer Zach has been excellent! I asked for someone who would help me with a combination of physical therapy and personal training. During the last two years, I gained a lot of weight, received a hip replacement and generally allowed myself to fall into disrepair. I also asked for someone who could holistically address my needs and do so in an emotionally supportive way. I got all of that and more with Zach. I feel stronger, physically and emotionally after just a few weeks. I will continue to work with Zack and Chitown for the foreseeable future.

Konrad, contacted me immediately and answered all my questions He came out with my personal trainer and was very organized, enthusiastic, and created my very own exercise regimen as well as giving information on what to eat and what to stay away from! Konrad is motivating & informative. The trainer Diana, is excellent. Results depend on hard work & following the diet plan, as one would expect. I am 58 and out of shape. I feel so much better after 6 sessions. Trainer shows up at my door so no excuses not to work out. I can always find a reason not to go to the gym. Price is reasonable for such personal service.

After 35 years of travel and entertaining for my prior business responsibilities, I retired early and decided that my first goal was to get into better shape. I investigated a number of personal trainers in the area and contacted references provided by Chitown Trainer before engaging them. The peronal references were all spectacular. My personal experience has been great so far. I am well on my way to achieving my fitness and post-retirement lifestyle goals with the help of my trainer. He pushes me forward in my workouts and offers positive encouragement during our periodic progress reviews. He is always on time and provides a full 60-minute workout, after which I am both physically exhausted and mentally refreshed. If something such as heavy traffic results in him being delayed, he sends text messages so that I can keep my other commitments moving forward. Very reliable, professional and knowledgeable trainer, and an important part of my weekly routine!

I highly recommend Chitown Trainer whose owner is Konrad Koczwara. My personal trainer is Alonza Thornton who has been highly skilled in quickly defining sets of exercises that work well for my goals. He has also done an excellent job in listening to my feedback in order to fine tune my exercises to maximize results. He pays a lot of attention to your exercise form to ensure that the appropriate set of muscles are used; this is a skill that all personal trainers do not possess. I highly recommend Alonza Thornton.
