I’ve been training for +7 years now, and within that time I’ve been able to add numerous certifications and skill sets under my belt. I’ve worked with a wide range of people: tall, small, experienced, brand new, athletes, or those just looking to stay active. My training approach consists of building on functional and fundamental capacity before adding load, in other words, being sure that you can move well and pain free, before we progress. I treat my clients like my friends, so you should expect some jokes here and there and genuine conversation. My goal is to get you where you want to be, so help me help you and let’s make that happen. I am been working with Curby for the past four months. When we started, I had not been to the gym in 8+ years and was starting from scratch. From the very beginning, Curby displayed an exceptional level of professionalism and took the time to understand my fitness goals and limitations. Every week he creates tailored workouts for me that continue to push me without being outside my physical ability. Curby is easy to talk to and creates a supportive environment. I initially signed up for 12 sessions hoping to get myself back to gym regularly. It has gone so well that I have continued with our sessions.

Working out with Curby has definitely improved my overall wellness! Not only am I noticing changes in my body, energy levels, and progression in strength and endurance that have carried over into other classes I take throughout the week, but I am also enjoying the time I spend in these trainings and look forward to doing the work! He designs my workouts to keep me engaged and the time flies during our sessions. Each workout always includes ample warm up and cool down time - he is great and monitoring my movement to make sure I’m executing things correctly and safely to prevent injury. He encourages and pushes me in each session while also allowing me to listen to my body and each workout leaves me feeling accomplished and sore the next day!

I first met with Curby in Jan 2022, about 3 1/2 months before my wedding. I was looking to gain strength and tone up. I thought I’d stick around just long enough to get more comfortable at the gym, learn certain exercises I could incorporate on my own, and have some accountability to keep me ready leading to the big day. It’s now been a year since my wedding, but we’ve still been meeting 1-2x a week ever since our first session. I could not believe the results I saw within just a few weeks. I was more toned, leaner, fitter, stronger, more confident, healthier, and overall just proud of myself. My appetite increased, and I had way more energy and stamina. I loved how I looked and felt for my wedding. The newfound (and sustained) body confidence was awesome, and all the compliments didn’t hurt either! After years of erratic (at best) exercise routines, I finally found something I wanted to stick with. A year and a half later and I couldn’t imagine giving up my weekly routine with Curby. I don’t think we have ever had two sessions that were exactly alike, and he expertly tailors our workouts to my goals and my needs. Curby has made our sessions feel like I’m hanging out with a friend, but he pushes me beyond where I could ever go on my own. Training with Curby is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I previously thought a trainer was an unnecessary luxury. But the experience has been truly invaluable and the best investment I could have made in myself and my health.

I loved working with Curby! I came to Curby with a goal of increasing my lean muscle mass. I worked with him for about a year and saw significant gains in strength and a decrease in overall body fat. Mission accomplished! Curby's workouts were top notch - he never rushed me through the workout and I was consistently challenged. I also did at home coaching with Curby - it was shocking how difficult his at-home workouts could be. I only moved on from Curby because my schedule changed - he's the best!

Overall amazing experience. Even though I live across the USA, Curb did not hesitate to help in any way. From texts, to FaceTime he was there with any help I needed. Was about 300lbs when I first started with him and I dropped 50lbs and I haven’t felt better. Here’s to another 50lbs!
