Jeff and his team were great! I would highly recommend their services. I spent a handful of weeks getting quotes and talking to multiple different contractors about creating built ins in my pre-existing closet. Not only did Benchmark Interiors have the most cost effective quote, but they were also the most thorough in communication and procedure. I felt as if they were very honest through the whole process and kept me informed on different options, a timeline, and multiple possibilities depending on my vision. I feel like working with a new contractor can be worrisome but Jeff always put me at ease and always made me feel heard when I had criticism or concerns. Fortunately, one year later, the cost was well worth it and everything still looks and functions perfectly. I get asked who my contractor was all the time and I will continue to use Benchmark Interiors for my future projects. Thanks again!!

Jeff was great in repairing some old outdoors stairs for us. It was a bit of a challenge once he got the old stairs out, and could see what was underneath, but he handled it without any issues.

UPDATE: Jeff did some more work for me January 2026. He replaced part of my ceiling above my HVAC unit after an upstairs pipe burst caused severe water damage. He also fixed some other problems in the ceiling, and the wall around my thermostat (that was broken during the pipe burst.) It’s been 2 years that I have been hiring Jeff to help keep my business standing, and he’s always been conscientious about his work and respectful of my space & time. Before/After pics added! Benchmark Interiors, more specifically JEFF, did a small business location project for me. This included demo of a room/walls in the space, painting the ceiling and walls, and about 100 small projects like installing my sink, adding a new air vent & hanging coat hooks that I failed to do myself. Jeff was attentive to my needs and wants for the space, he let me be part of the process (safely), and made the entire experience enjoyable. He even let me film him for my personal social media! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Jeff every single time. His skills, professionalism, and price were all top tier. I recommend his services whole heartedly, 10/10! (Photos are beginning, during, and final look. *I requested some things be left as is for “lived-in” aesthetic reasons)

I picked Jeff after a business owner—whose project is featured here—recommended him. She trusted him with her vision for her first physical retail location, and I wanted to believe in him as much as she did. I hired him on Aug 24 with a 30-day timeline. On Oct 8, after delays, he told me he could still finish by month-end. Instead, weeks went by with little to no crew on site, spotty communication, and no sense of urgency. When I walked the unit in late October, I saw demo + partial framing + limited electrical—and learned no materials were ordered. When I ended the project because of the delays, he acknowledged my money wasn’t fully spent but said he wouldn’t refund me without consulting a lawyer. I can handle delays when someone is honest and proactive; what hurt was feeling like my time, money, and trust didn’t matter. I ended the project and moved on. If you value reliability and follow-through, my experience didn’t deliver that.
