- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are: $30 per half hour lesson $45 per 45 minute lesson $60 per hour lesson I do charge for no show situations. If you will be absent, please let me know no less than 2 hours beforehand. If you cancel last minute or do not show, then a make up lesson will be requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend our first lesson getting to know each other and the background of my student's musical interests. We learn the basics of music and do warm ups. I test my student's level and assign them pieces that I believe fit their styles and abilities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelors in voice and psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington. I have taken lessons in piano, voice, and violin and have learned extensively through my teachers. I have taken courses in vocal pedagogy and have been a voice and piano instructor for 2 1/2 years.
