Introduction: We will guide you through the process of how to get married- from clerk's office to ceremony! Last minute ceremonies, elopements, microweddings, courthouse alternatives and backyard weddings are our favorite. Custom ceremonies are $200 at the location of your choice in Cook County. Zoom weddings are available for $100. This package includes a basic virtual ceremony and license signing. For couples who just want to get their license signed we offer legal minimum “I do and sign” ceremonies. These take about 5 minutes from start to signing and are available for $100 at my location. We are also happy to come to you for a $25 travel surcharge. Travel and parking surcharges may apply depending on location.

Brenda was an amazing officiant for us. Our wedding was totally last minute, but she was able to walk us through the entire process, from giving tips on best places for our outdoor elopement, to sending the draft for the ceremony early on. Getting married is such a special occasion and for us we needed someone who could do something not so standard(handfasting) we absolutely loved having Simple Ceremony Chicago as our wedding officiant. She was extremely responsive and open to any questions we had no matter how simple or obvious they might’ve been. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices for custom ceremonies start at $200 for a personalized script, officiating, and completing your marriage license and processing. Legal minimum ceremonies are $100-140 depending on location.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a simple online survey for couples to fill out to begin the process of building their custom ceremony. If more personalization is desired, we can meet over email or zoom to discuss what you'd like to see in you ceremony. I also share the ceremony script for review and edit, if desired.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a minister ordained by the Universal Life Church. I have performed over 250 religious and secular ceremonies everywhere from public parks to formal courtyards.
