Kari from Wedding Day Chicago was wonderful to work with! My now-husband and I are both absent-minded creative types who generally struggle with organizing. We'd certainly never organized a big party before and we were getting increasingly overwhelmed. It reached a point where we knew we would need a good day-of coordinator. We contacted Kari about 3 months before our wedding, which is a little late in the game. But she set our minds at ease and reassured us that she could definitely help us make our special day happen smoothly. She was also willing to work within our budget and come up with a package that suited our needs. Super helpful! Throughout the remainder of the planning process, Kari became an extremely valuable resource of practical advice, organization, and confidence. When wedding day finally came, we knew we were in good hands. Kari did a great job communicating with vendors, helping to wrangle stray family members for photos, and especially helping us and the wedding party rehearse for the ceremony. She also helped set up our DIY table centerpieces for the reception, which is so, so appreciated. And she did it all with grace and a smile. Overall, we would highly recommend Kari for weddingcoordination/planning. I don't know what we would've done without her!

Kari was amazing. She helps with creative ideas if you need them. We had to move around our wedding plans last minute due to COVID and Kari was very flexible and accommodating.
She helped with the whole process, reducing the stress for me and my now husband.
Her words were wonderful and gave us the intimate wedding we were looking for.

Kari came in clutch for our wedding day. We had hit a major bump in the road for our very micro ceremony, did not have an officiant, and had exhausted plans A-Z. Our wedding date was just 6 days away and we did not know what to do. I begrudgingly googled some form of "officiants near me" and ended up connected to Kari. She contacted me within 5 minutes of my search, at almost 10 o'clock at night. She was extremely professional, shared her contact information, and confirmed definitive availability right away. We spoke on the phone the next day to finalize the plan to ensure a smooth day. Her website gave me confidence in her work and passion for celebrating a couple's unity, and I was at ease in trusting her to follow through with our plans. She showed up early, cheerfully stood outside in the 30 degree windy Chicago weather for us, and delivered a ceremony that was truly perfect for our style. We are beyond grateful and happy with our experience with her. I would recommend her any day!
