I first hired Neena to coordinate my wedding day. I found her on thumbtack and we exchanged a few friendly messages. After I spoke to her on the phone, I knew that she would be incredible! She was easy to talk to and excited about my ideas. After digging into the task of planning, I realized that I needed much more help. I asked Neena and she agreed to help me through the planning phase in addition to doing day-of coordination. She was invaluable! She offered suggestions, strategies, and services as if it was her own wedding. Throughout the whole process, I never felt like a "client" with her, it was like talking to an excited bridesmaid or friend. She handled communication with my vendors with efficiency, professionalism and determination. She negotiated on my behalf (saving me thousands of $!) and willingly did extra research if something didn't seem quite right.
While the process of planning a wedding is of course stressful at times, it should also be fun. Every conversation (and there were a lot and they were lengthy;) with Neena left me feeling excited about the tasks ahead and reassured that my wedding would be beautiful.
On my wedding day, I wasn't nervous at all. I knew that I was in excellent hands. The wedding day was seamless. My mom commented on Neena's management of the ceremony run-though, she wasn' t bossy, but assertive and she was really nice about it. Exactly what you need! Her meticulous organization, from mapping the venue to the logistics of juggling all the people-vendors and guests, was phenomenal! Neena has all of the right qualities to excel as a wedding planner. She is detailed-oriented (or obsessed;), she has a great aesthetic sense, she is diplomatic, and above all, she is warm and truly loves weddings. She has the business savvy to communicate clearly and professionally whilst being assertive with vendors. She understands contracts and logistics. She anticipated and planned contingencies for every possible problem. Everyone told me things like, something will go wrong just accept it and try to enjoy the day. However, nothing went wrong! Honestly, it was perfect! Most importantly, Neena understands how important the day is to the bride and groom and their families.
She treated my wedding not as a "job", but as the most special day in my life and I can't thank her enough for making sure it was perfect!

From the very beginning when I started searching for a wedding planner, I liked very much Neena's very personal and also flexible approach. Once I received her feedback to my request, I knew I didn't need to search further - I found MY WEDDING PLANNER. I was looking for a person who is ready to work flawlessly on a smaller scale event and also within a short period of time; who can provide professional advice on service providers, venue, specific details; and who will be able to support during the preparations and event itself. We didn't have a big event; it was a small family-like wedding celebration. And it turned out really well - thanks to Neena's contribution and creative ideas. She was very organized, friendly, very attentive to all our needs and cultural specifics (I come from Russia while my husband is American) - she was very engaged and committed to making our wedding a remarkable event for myself and my husband and all our guests. I did enjoy working with Neena, and the time we spent together during the preparations - at face to face meetings, by phone or Skype (any communication means will work for her) - was a true pleasure!

Neena was AMAZING. I planned the wedding from Sonoma, was to be married in Chicago. Right from the beginning she was on top of things and was super organized. She did wonders with communicating between all the vendors and keeping the timeline do-able! As for the actual day, Neena was a rockstar! She made anything and everything happen! I honesty don't know what I would have done without her!

We worked with Neena for our wedding in Chicago (July 12th, 2014). She was unbelievable! We planned the wedding from New York so from the start she was so accommodating to us. She was flexible and worked with us via Skype and Google hangout. She was so knowledgable about everything! I felt totally at ease the second we started working together. The stress of planning a wedding can be immense but Neena was able to handle our large wedding of 250 and coordinate everything seamlessly. I woke up the day of the wedding to pouring rain. I started to get a little worried and minutes later there was a knock at the door. It was Neena with umbrellas for the entire wedding party and rain boots for me. This is just a glimpse into her ability to be one step ahead of everything. I didn't have a chance to worry about anything because she was so on top of everything! I would recommend her to anyone!!
