I specialize in hand-brushed finishes for cabinetry, furniture and other wood surfaces, as well as spraying. I use topnotch equipment and professional products. I'm trained and insured.
As a decorative artist, I resurface and hand paint fireplaces, apply glazing techniques and plasters to walls, and work on other creative projects.
I offer a 10% discount when working on multiple projects in the home.

About Me:
Hallwood Studio began in my home town of South Bend, Indiana. Over the past 18 years, I have trained all over the country with master artisans/craftspeople in every service that I provide. I keep current with trends and techniques, and am fully insured.
I have been fortunate to work with incredibly talented industry professionals and artisans on projects from The Hamptons in New York to Santa Monica, California. I am presently located in Wheaton/Glen Ellyn, a western suburb of Chicago, but I love traveling for projects.
In addition to my professional training, I also have a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University with concentrations in fine art and science. My passions are fine art photography and exploring the country with my camera.
My business is always evolving, and I pride myself on my creativity, incredible attention to detail, project efficiency and thoroughness, and my ability to work well and 'hear' my clients needs/vision, resulting in beautifully executed projects. I love nothing more than great design.
It is impossible to wear all of the hats, so I happily collaborate with interior designers, home stagers/organizers, real estate agents and home remodeling professionals.
